With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Sherry Ann Greenhow of Cherry Valley, Illinois, born in Rockford, Illinois, who passed away on October 15, 2021 at the age of 83. She was predeceased by: her parents, Harvey Peterson and Margaret Peterson (Seiler); and her brother Jerry Peterson. She is survived by: her husband Donald L. Greenhow; her children, Kevin Greenhow (Michelle) of Altoona, WI, Gary Greenhow (Gwen) of Belvidere, IL and Julia Englund (Dan) of Cherry Valley, IL; her brother Neal Peterson of Palm Springs, CA; her grandchildren, Jeremy Greenhow (Marta), Brandon Greenhow (Charity), Dustin Greenhow (Bethany), Brock Greenhow (Brianne) and Caleigh Fox (Devin); her stepgrandchildren, Michael Young (Kelsey), Gloria Kok (Josh), Jenna Durez (Danny) and Matthew Englund (Jessica); her great grandchildren, Zephyr, Aro, Scarlette, Axel, Nova, Maverick, Isla, Oakley and Knox; her stepgreat-grandchildren, Parker and Luke; her sisters-in-law, Gloria Mowers, Darlene Fry and Diana Priest Greenhow; and her close friends, Marlene Hess and Jan Stukenberg. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
