He was predeceased by: his parents, Marshall Killen and Myrtle Killen; his brother Walley Killen; and his siblings-in-law, Joyce Killen and Ed Wight.

He is survived by: his children, David Killen (Suzanne) of Mequon, WI, Roger Killen (Diane) of Elkhorn, WI, Sandra Schroeder (Jim) of Sun Prairie, WI and Jim Killen (Wendy) of Orland Park, IL.; his grandchildren, Elena Gearhart (Dustin), Max Killen, Alyssa Bry (Keith), Stephanie Killen, Brad Killen, Chris Schroeder, Leah Schroeder, Zoe Killen and Paige Killen; his wife Beverly (O'Connell); his siblings, Glen Killen of Cases Grande, AZ and Shirley Wight of Machesney Park, IL; and also Orville Larson of Altoona, WI.. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins.

Memorials may be given to St. Jude Children's Hospital.
