Knutson of Cherry Valley, Illinois, born in Sioux City, Iowa, who passed away on November 29, 2022, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. “My condolences to Coach Knutson's family and friends. I ran cross country for h from 1964-1967 at Dixon High School. He was a kind, encouraging, and serious but funny coach who taught me a lot about being a teacher and leader. I was proud to be a captain of his team. As a college professor of English and later as President at Wabash College and Millikin University, I have continued a love of the sport and relayed Coach's wisdom and humor. His life was a gift to me and so many. Pat White”
