He is survived by: his sister Naomi (Charles Bietau) of Williamston, Michigan; his sons, James Pierce (Beverly) of Knoxville and Thomas Pierce (Jeannie) of Tallahassee, Florida; his grandchildren, Meagan Heaton, Christopher Pierce and Julia Stake; and his great grandchildren, Katie Grace Heaton, Abigail, Hannah, Josiah, Ruth Ann Stake, Alden, Ainsley and Ava Pierce.
