He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward A. and Christine A. Smerke (Reukauf); and his parents-in-law, Lucille Headrick and Earl Null. He is survived by: his wife Phyllis; his daughters, Kim Kuba (Mike) of DeKalb, IL and Karen Cota (Mike) of El Monte, CA; his grandchildren, Michael Edward Kuba and Kylie Elizabeth Kuba; his sister Hazel Lynn Baggett of Albuquerque, NM; and his father-in-law Roy Headrick. He is also survived by cousins, nieces and nephews.
