He was predeceased by: his parents, LaVern Neff and Nancy Neff (Cook); his stepmother Jane Neff; his stepsister Julie Benson; and his nephews, Andrew and Matt Benson.
He is survived by: his former wife Katherine M. Mancl; his wife Kathy Neff; his daughter Jenna Schuster (Juergen); his grandchildren, Luca and Oliver; his sister Brenda Habermann (Dave); his stepbrother Jeff Benson (Beth); and his nieces and nephews, Amanda, Kailey, Josh, Carla, Scott, Jackie, Kirsten and Cara.
