He is survived by: his former wife Audrey Reed; his grandchildren, Artavis Reed, Asia Reed, Tristen Hemby, Patrick Gipson Jr., Leona Reed, Mikayla and Ethen Fulkerson; his great grandchild Amaris Reed; and his siblings, Oliver Reed (Pearline), Willie L Reed Jr. of Belvidere, IL., Bennie, Warren Reed (Marilyn) of Rockford, IL, Lunnie Tyus of Brownsville, TN., Cordie S Turner (James) of Brownsville, TN., Toni Simmons (Dave) of Brownsville, TN., Richard Crew (Mammie) and Debra Crew of Ripley, TN..
Visitation will be held on Friday, April 18th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Saturday, April 19th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, April 19th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Pilgrim Baptist Church (1703 S Central Ave, Rockford, IL 61102).
