With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Allene E. Haag of Cherry Valley, Illinois, who passed away on December 1, 2023 at the age of 71. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Allene E. Haag to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert Spoden and Mary Spoden of West Chicago, IL.; and her sister Margie Smith. She is survived by: her husband Sheldon Haag of Cherry Valley; her children, Jennifer Dougherty (Eric) of California and Bryan of Cherry Valley; her siblings, David (Suzi) of Tennessee, James (Shirley) of Batavia and Patti Klima (Bob) of South Elgin, IL; and her grandchildren, Evan, Allison, Nathan Haag, Brennan, Kevin and Megan Dougherty. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, we ask that those interested donate to the Alzheimer's Association.

“Sheldon and Family, I want to take this time, to express our deepest sympathys. I hadn't seen Allene since high school. One date after high school, was when you and Allene got married (Feb. 20, 1971 at 2 pm) I remember that day vividly as I got married one hour after you two!( Mike Havlik)! As couples our lives began, getting jobs, raising our families etc. But every Feb 20th, for the past 52 yrs. I toasted you both! I hope Allene can rest in peace now, no more suffering.
