He is survived by: his children, Jennifer Curl (Jason) of Lodi, CA and Joel Kauffman of Pontiac; his brother Bill Kauffman (Linda); his grandchildren, Jacob Curl, Kylie Curl and Genevieve Kauffman; his nieces, Lauren Luckett and Courtney Clifford; and his friend Michelle Brand.
