It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Mary Elizabeth Rhoda of Chenoa, Illinois, born in Paxton, Illinois, who passed away on May 11, 2023, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Louis Wissmiller and Gertrude Wissmiller (Speedie); her husband Charles O. Rhoda; and her siblings, Donald, William, Jerald "Tud", Robert Wissmiller and Kathryn Swope.
She is survived by: her children, Pamela Norris (Tom) of Chenoa, IL, Gregory Rhoda (Susan McCray) of Sherman, IL and Eric Rhoda (Dawn) of Lexington, IL; her sister Jeanette Hensley of Gibson City, IL; and her grandchildren, Elizabeth Hospelhorn, Mitchell, Jennifer Ward, Hannah Norris, Justin, Jaron Rhoda, Brooke Watson, Tyler, Alex and Ryan Rhoda. She is also survived by five great grandchildren.
The family suggests memorials be given to St. Paul Evangelical Lutheran Church, Chenoa or charity of the donor's choice.
