He was predeceased by: his parents, Claude Powell and Vivian May Powell. He is survived by: his wife Vickie Harsha; his children, Jeremiah Powell (Amy) and Ashleigh Feit (Nick); his grandchildren, Kayleigh, Hunter, Landon, Logan and Ava; and his siblings, Jody (Bob), T. J. Powell (Nancy) and Claudia (Tom).
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Cache Lake Scout Camp for future projects or the Chenoa Baptist Church through Duffy-Pils Memorial Home, Chenoa, who is handling arrangements.
