It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dorothy M Vaughan of Chenoa, Illinois, who passed away on November 8, 2021, at the age of 104, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Robert; her siblings, Pauline Smith Lanhardt, Esther Smith, Elmer Smith (Myrtle), Percy Smith (Hazel), Clifford Smith, William Smith and Richard Smith (Alice); and her grandson Christopher Vaughan.
She is survived by: her siblings, George and Lucy Smith (Houser); her children, Barbara Folks of Bloomington, IL, Robert Vaughan (Mary) of Ellsworth, IL. and Randy Vaughan (Donna) of Ellsworth, IL.; her grandchildren, Larry Folks (Amy), JoLynn Folks, Ken Folks (Mary), Jessica Ward (Cy) and Rebekah Baska (Aaron); her granddaughter-in-law Amanda Vaughan Roget (Jeff); and her great grandchildren, Joshua Haynes, Jeremy Haynes, Ashley Vaughan, Emily Vaughan, Avery Wilson, Charlie Wilson, Emily Ward, Robin Ward and Margot Baska. She is also survived by three children, welcomed their grandchildren and great grandchildren.
The family suggests memorials to be made to the Ellsworth United Methodist Church or Home Sweet Home Ministries.
