He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Rhoades and Francis Frost Rhoades; his siblings, Carl, Melvin Rhoades and Virginia Rhoades; and his grandson Corey Rhoades.
He is survived by: his son Richard Rhoades (Penny); his grandsons, Aaron Rhoades (Alicia) and Brad Rhoades (Adriana Alvarez); his great grandchildren, Lucas, Layton and Madison; and his siblings, Ruby Allen, Daisy Pettyjohn and Marvin Rhoades of Cowden, IL..
The family suggests memorials be given to Fairview Haven Retirement Community, Fairbury or the Chenoa Fire Department.
