Loretta Wuebbens Obituary

Loretta K. Wuebbens, 89, Meadows, died Tuesday (Aug. 25, 2009) at Meadows Mennonite Home, rural Chenoa. Her service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at First Lutheran Church, Pontiac, with Pastor Dieter Punt officiating. Burial will be in Center Cemetery, rural Flanagan. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church.

Duffy Funeral Home, Pontiac, is handling arrangements. She was born March 27, 1920, in Long Point, daughter of John J. and Etta K. Eden Folkerts. She married Edward B. Wuebbens on May 19, 1946, in Flanagan. He died Sept. 28, 1990. Surviving are daughters, Elaine K. (Paul) Kalkwarf, Seguin, Texas, and Carol M. (David) Aberle, Fairbury; sister, Christena Frerichs, Meadows; grandchildren, Jennifer (Adrian) Gonzales, Round Rock, Texas; Victoria Kalkwarf, Seguin, Texas; Michael (Laura Dehm) Aberle and Rhiannon (Ronnie) Gerdes, both of Chatsworth; Megan Aberle, Fairbury; and Corissa (Jeff) Nichols, Louisville, Ky.; and eight great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; spouse; one son, Stanley Wuebbens; two brothers; and two sisters.
