He is survived by: his children, Tom Gerth (Kay) of Chatsworth, IL and Linda Kinney of Chatsworth, IL; his grandchildren, Kelli Matlock (Chris) of LeRoy, IL, Eric Gerth (Lori) of LeRoy, IL, Chris Gerth (Shanna) of Washington, IL, Brad Kinney of Chatsworth, IL and Tyler Kinney of Chatsworth, IL; his great grandchildren, Meghan, Jordan, Brandon Matlock (Hannah), Morgan Martin (Aaron), Macy, Halle, Caleb, Jacob Gerth, Kendall and Emmy Gerth; and his great great grandchildren, Liam and Isla Matlock.
