She was predeceased by: her parents, Donald Smartz and Thelma Smartz (Lade); her husband Raymond Bryant; and her stepfather Robert Mason. She is survived by: her daughter Donnanne Perkins; her grandchildren, Steven Wayne Bryant, Joseph Denton Tolliver Jr., James Lee Warren, Anthony Lewis Warren and Crystal Walters; and her sisters, Leona Ann Gibson and Donna Runyon (Richard). She is also survived by fifteen great-grandchildren.

Memorials in Debra's name can be made to the American Cancer Society or to the family.
