We bid farewell to Thomas Edward Reavis of Chatham, Illinois, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on March 17, 2025 at the age of 74. Thomas Edward touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Lester Wayne and Helen Reavis (Campbell); his wife Margaret Leigh Syson; and his siblings, Lester Wayne Reavis, Jr., Dale Reavis, Gary Reavis, Connie Smith and Bonnie Daykin.
He is survived by: his sons, Matthew Reavis (Kerry) and Drew Reavis (Tricia); his grandchildren, Zachary and Paige Reavis; and his brother Steve Reavis (Helen). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held on Monday, March 24th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM at the Butler Funeral Home – Chatham (8855 State Rte 4, Chatham, IL 62629). A funeral service will be held on Monday, March 24th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that memorial donations be made to the Wounded Warrior Project, honoring Tom's dedication to his fellow servicemen and women.
