She was predeceased by: her parents, Ellsworth Marshall and Opal Stafford Marshall; and her grandchildren, Caitlyn, Caydon Ihlenfeldt and Logan Grossner.

She is survived by: her husband Jim Friel; her children, Amy Ankrom (Eric), Melissa Grossner (Tim) and Matthew Friel (Lori); her grandchildren, Allyson Johnston (Derrick), Nathan Piper (Josh), Evan Ihlenfeldt (Lanie), Brandon Ihlenfeldt (Tahara), Ben Ihlenfeldt, Jackson Ihlenfeldt, Abby Grossner, Izzy Grossner, Brenna Friel, Gavin Friel and Landon Friel; her stepgrandchildren, Isaac Ankrom and Nikki Ankrom; and her great grandchildren, Brooklyn Ihlenfeldt, Beckham Ihlenfeldt, Ella Ihlenfeldt and Ava Ihlenfeldt. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
