It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Mary Ann Gaydos of Chatham, Illinois, born in Virden, Illinois, who passed away on June 9, 2024, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Florijan Gorichan and Maria Gorichan (Vidergar); her husband Leonard R. Gaydos; her siblings, John, Frank, Vancil Gorichan, Fannie Pierce, Angela Drendel and Antonette Porgelc; and her stepsiblings, Frances, Marjorie, Chris, Mary and Frank. She is also survived by numerous loving nieces and nephews.

“It is with great sadness Dave and I offer our heartfelt condolences on the passing of our dearest friend and neighbor of 20 years, Mary Ann. We took her into our hearts and have loved her as family. Even now we just want to go next door to check on her as we did most every day. We have shared many birthdays, holidays, yard clean up days, snow days and just because days. We have listened to her play her organ and tell such amazing stories of her life. She was an incredible woman and we miss her😘”
