He was predeceased by: his parents, John H. O'Neill and Bernice J. O'Neill (Toedter); his sister Connie; and his brother-in-law James Richardson. He is survived by: his wife Carol O'Neill of Chatham; his sons, John H. O'Neill, IV (Christi) of Downers Grove, Chris O'Neill of Springfield and Billy O'Neill (Emily) of Athens; his grandchildren, Brian, Mia, Ella, Olivia, Samantha and Allison; and his siblings, Kay Richardson and Mike O'Neill. He is also survived by four nieces; and five nephews.
