He was predeceased by: his former wife Rita Marie Fowler; and his parents, Warren and Cleda. He is survived by: his wife Cindy; his children, Joanne Zwiers (Jeff) and Eric Wheeler; his stepchildren, Angie Coslow and Chris Bergschneider; his grandchildren, Kristan Jones, Rachel Coslow and Austin Coslow; his great grandchild Jameson Jones; his sisters, Jane Vodicka and Mary Frank; and his sister-in-law Jane Wills (David). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 5th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Church (700 E Spruce St, Chatham, IL 62629). A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, October 5th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location. The military honors will be held on Saturday, October 5th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Friends Creek Cemetery.
