Ervin L. Shimkus Obituary

Shimkus (Chatham, Illinois), born in Peoria, Illinois, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 18, 2025 at the age of 86. He was predeceased by: his parents, Tony Shimkus and Lucille Shimkus; and his brother Tony "Sonny" Shimkus. He is survived by: his sister Sharon Zwiezen of Denver, CO.; his wife Sharon Shimkus; his children, Kathy Ridley (Tom Wolf) of Springfield, IL, John Shimkus (Josi) of Neptune and New NJ; his grandchildren, Nicole Subick (Ryan), Erica Guerin (Paul), Savannah Shimkus, Benjamin Shimkus, Grace Purvis (Joseph), John Paul Shimkus, AJ Shimkus and Noah Shimkus; and his great grandchild Johnathan Subick.
