He was predeceased by : his parents, Steve Hill and Delphia Hill; his brother Steve Hill Junior; and his wives, Carol Richards, Pam Morgan and Barbara Hires.

He is survived by : his daughters, Elizabeth Butler (Rob), Wendy Griesemer (Mike), Sarah McGee (Mark) and Valerie McClellan (Robert); his grandchildren, Drew Butler, Emily Butler, Brice Griesemer (Janie), Monica Griesemer, Keaton McGee and Ellie McGee; and his great grandchildren, Hallie, Henry and Hugh Griesemer (Pam Johnson). He is also survived by his family, friends.

Visitation was held on Saturday, June 29th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Wesley United Methodist Church (2206 4th St, Charleston, IL 61920). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, June 29th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
