It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Walter Victor Truex of Charleston, Illinois, born in Elkhart, Indiana, who passed away on February 16, 2022, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Mervin Ellsworth and Lorene Truex (Frailey); his daughter Louetta Plancarte; and his siblings, Donald Gene Truex, Glenn Truex, Wayne Truex, Lois Messick and Joyce Miers.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara Bergfield of Charleston, IL; his children, Joshua Truex (Amiee) of Arcola, IL, Nathan Truex (Lindsey) of Charleston, IL and Jenni Keeven (Steven) of St. Charles, MO; his grandchildren, Jose Plancarte of Mesquite, NV, Susanna Plancarte of Phoenix, AZ, Mark, Conner, Grayson Truex of Arcola, IL, Abel, Easton, Dalton Truex of Charleston, IL, Noah and Sadie Keeven of St. Charles, MO; and his siblings, Virginia Cordell of Walkerton, IN, Betty Sims of Arizona and Buehl Truex of Glendora, CA..
