She was predeceased by: her parents, Omar Swango and Fern Swango Emhuff (Nixon); her husband Ralph Eugene Dare; and her sister Geneva Moody. She is survived by: her children, Gloria Jean Jones (Tom) of Charleston, IL, Virginia Diane Stirrett (Mike) of Charleston, IL, Daniel Leroy Dare (Beverly) of Mt. Vernon, IL and Debra Elaine Dick (John) of Charleston, IL; her grandchildren, Niki Dare of Ashmore, IL, Chris Bales (Jenni) of Charleston, IL, Jacob Dick (Stephanie) of Charleston, IL, Justin Dick of Charleston, IL, Jason Dare of Oakland, IL and Ryan Dare (Tori) of Marion, IL; and her half-brother Charlie Emhuff of Texas. She is also survived by seven great-grandchildren.
