With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Roscoe McDaniel Cougill of Charleston, Illinois, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. He was predeceased by: his parents, Oral Cougill and Emaline Cougill (Vaughn); and his sister Susan Cougill. He is survived by: his wife Sallie A. Cougill of Charleston; his sons, Andrew A. Cougill (Elizabeth) of Charleston and Christopher M. Cougill (Ann) of Charleston; his grandchildren, Hailey of Charleston, Scout of Charleston, Audie of Charleston and Charles Cougill of Charleston; and his sister Sarah Cougill of Charleston.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Adams Funeral Chapel (2330 Shawnee Dr, Charleston, IL 61920). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Charleston VFW Post 1592, 1821 20th St., Charleston, IL 61920, or the Charleston Community Band, 520 Jackson Ave., Charleston, IL 61920.
