He is survived by: his wife Tina Best of Charleston; his children, Amy Best Lepak (Karl) of Glendale, Bryce Best of Queen Creek and Kelly Best Hutti (Jon) of Charleston; his grandchildren, Alexander Hannah, Heidi Hannah of Glendale, Claire Best, Maguire Best of Queen Creek, Benjamin Hutti and Jackson Hutti of Charleston; and his siblings, John Best (Marian) of Charleston, Gary Best of Ventura, California, Brenda Best Stone (Chris) of Lerna and Barbara Best Robertson of Beavercreek. He is also survived by nieces and nephews and many other extended family and friends.
