He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Wilson and Clara Wilson (Esch); and his siblings, William, Albert, Charles Wilson, Florence Goble and Mildred Alice Wilson.
He is survived by: his wife Joyce J. Scribner; his sons, Gary L. Wilson of Terre Haute and Dr. Larry W. Wilson of Evanston, Illinois.; his grandchildren, Darrick Wilson (Christy) of Terre Haute and Kelsey Barrett (Jarrod) of Farmersburg, Indiana.; his great grandchildren, Maci Grace Wilson, Brookelee Kay Barrett and Gradon Barrett; and also, Captain, Sebastian and Sydney.
Memorial gifts in his honor may be made to the Charleston High School FFA Activity Fund Account; the University of Illinois 4-H Foundation (Coles County) or CrossTies Christian Ministries.
