He was predeceased by: his parents, Dr. Richard Dean and Dorothy Dean (Sherman). He is survived by: his wife Roann Kopel; his children, Ben Dean (Sandy), Rob Dean (Amanda), Sarah Nelson (Travis) and Megan Dean; and his sister Suzy Devore. He is also survived by his 11 grandchildren.
