He was predeceased by: his parents, George Oscar and Frances McCausland (Zinke); his wife Marilyn Derrick (Wahl); his stepdaughter Karen Derrick; and his siblings, Jim McCausland and Ann Kellen.
He is survived by: his former spouse Sigrid Stueland; and his children, Ralph McCausland (Joan) of Lerna, Roger McCausland (Sue) of Yakima, Martha Piszcek (Russ) of Yorkville, George McCausland (Sue) of Genoa and Ruth Maddock (Mike) of Glen Ellyn, Illinois.
In lieu of flowers, donations in his honor may be made to Lincolnland Hospice and mailed to Adams Funeral Chapel, 2330 Shawnee Dr., Charleston, IL 61920.
