He was predeceased by: his parents, William Kenneth and Kathryn Claire Greider (Walton); his children, Sonja Greider and Philip Greider; and his sisters, Billie Ploeckelman and Sue Rothrock.

He is survived by: his wife Suejin Greider of Charleston, IL; his children, Katie Wernsing (Jake) of Teutopolis, IL, Jon Greider (Krystle) of Abbeville, SC, Larry Johns (Christy) of Arcola, IL and Christina Stephen (Matt) of Mattoon, IL; his grandchildren, Sidney, Haiven, Alayna, Emma, Kaiden, Lauren, Olivia, Mia and Avery; his great grandchild Mason; and his siblings, George Greider (Mary) of Houston, TX and Mary Brock (Lonnie) of Scottsdale, AZ..
