With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Judith J. Winnett of Charleston, Illinois, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 31, 2024 at the age of 80. She was predeceased by: her parents, Oather Daugherty and Pauline Daugherty (Bradford); her husband Jim Winnett; and her siblings, Billie Walters (Edward), Max Daugherty (Ardis) and Sue McKinney.
She is survived by: her daughters, Melanie Davis of Charleston, IL and Michelle Green of Charleston, IL; her stepchildren, Teresa Jewell and Jimmy Winnett; her granddaughters, Janielle Davis, Jocelyn Pritchard (Anthony) and Shayla Taylor (Tristen Searls); her great grandchildren, Clara, Rebecca and Steven Pritchard; and her siblings, Carol Smith (Leif Mortensen) of Charleston, IL, Kathy Daugherty of Savoy, IL and Tom Daugherty (Julie) of Clarksville, TN.. She is also survived by mom and grandma and spending time with her daughters and grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 8th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Adams Funeral Chapel (2330 Shawnee Dr, Charleston, IL 61920). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, January 8th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
