He was predeceased by: his parents, Harlan Thomason and Dorothy Thomason (Hood); his wife Darla Thomason; and his former wife Betty Armstrong (Herman). He is survived by: his children, Keith Thomason (Jill) of Webster City, Michael Chris Thomason of Charleston, Tonya Thomason of Charleston and Jestun Thomason of Rockwell City, Iowa; his granddaughter Abbie Thomason; his brother Mel Thomason; and his former wife Jodi Thomason.
