It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Frank Antonio Carlet of Charleston, Illinois, born in Middlebury, Connecticut, who passed away on May 6, 2024, at the age of 103, leaving to mourn family and friends. As Frank departs from this earthly realm, his essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Frank may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Frank leaves behind.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Francesco Carlet and Maria Conova Carlet; and his sons, Frank Carlet III and Joseph Carlet. He is survived by: his wife Geneva Carlet of Charleston; and his children, Geneva Boyd of Springfield, Charlotte Gano (Ken) of Charleston and James Carlet (Karen) of Mission, Kansas. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren; and several great grandchildren.
