She was predeceased by: her parents, Donald A. Walters and Doris E. Walters (Reynolds); her husband Billy E. Updegraff; her siblings, Maxine Hoggart and Bud Walters; and her sisters-in-law, Carolyn Walters and Juretta Walters.
She is survived by: her brother Robert Walters (RC). She is also survived by four nieces.
