It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ellen A Keiter (Charleston, Illinois), born in Fergus Falls, Minnesota, who passed away on December 10, 2019, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Thorfin Paulson and Mercedes Levring Paulson; her husband Richard Keiter; and her brother Milton Paulson. She is survived by: her brothers, Clayton Paulson (Marta Torres) of Oregon, Dennis Paulson of Virginia and Jerome Paulson (Judy) of Minnesota; her sister-in-law Linda Paulson of Minnesota; her children, Eric Keiter (Christina Yovovich) of New Mexico and Lise Keiter of Virginia; and her grandson Thorfin Keiter of New Mexico. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
It is requested that in lieu of flowers, thoughtful donations in her honor be made to the EIU Foundation - Richard L. & Ellen A. Keiter Undergraduate Research Fellowship at Eastern Illinois University, or to a charity of the donor's choice.
