Dorothy Rardin Obituary
We are sad to announce that on April 19, 2020, at the age of 99, Dorothy Rardin (Charleston, Illinois) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Fuller and Irma Fuller (DeWitt); her husband Ivan Rardin; her son Gary Lee Rardin; and her brother Charles Fuller.
She is survived by: her daughters, JoEllen Hickenbottom (Jim) of Charleston and Carolyn Rardin Spillman Phelps; and her grandchildren, Jeremy Hickenbottom (Laura) of Teutopolis, Jake Hickenbottom (Meagan) of Urbana, Elizabeth Flores (Richard) of Downey, Charles Spillman (Sue) of Bermuda Dunes and Cary Spillman (Robin) of Oceanside, California. She is also survived by 11 great-grandchildren; 7 great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials in her honor may be made to the Charleston Carnegie Public Library and mailed in care of Adams Funeral Chapel, 2330 Shawnee Drive, Charleston, Illinois 61920.
