She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Howard Perrine and Ruby Perrine (Rogers); her husband Gene McFarland; her children, Jeanna K. McFarland and Lynn McFarland (Paula); her granddaughters, Kelsey Danae McFarland (Nick Dudley) and Caitlin Brianne McFarland; and her sisters, Linda Kae Lattuada Williams of Herrin and Betty Samuel. She was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, her family requests donations in her honor be made to the EIU Foundation-Dolly J. and H. Gene McFarland Scholarship or to Wesley United Methodist Church.
