He was predeceased by: his parents, Cecil Evan Standifer and Lola Ison Standifer; his sister Doris Helen Standifer Murphy; his nephew William Shawn Murphy; and his daughter Shanna M. Standifer.

He is survived by: his son-in-law Talor S. Ray; and his grandson Tim W. Ray of St. Joseph, IL.
