He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Andrew and Nola C. Ealy (Prince); his son Randy Ealy; and his brothers, Gene Ealy, Phillip Ealy and Darrell Ealy.

He is survived by: his wife Jane Lee Dillman; his sons, John Ealy (Amy) of Champaign, Sean Ealy (Bethany) of Greenville, Jim Ealy (Elizabeth) of Charleston and Mark Ealy (Laura); his siblings, Reg Ealy (Lisa) of Charleston and Jennifer Kosko (Steve) of Arizona; and his grandchildren, Dylan Ealy, Lauren Ealy, Luke Ealy and Lydia Ealy.
