She was predeceased by: her parents, Malcolm Pierson and Louise Ramsey Pierson; her husband Millard "Gene" Cox; and her sons, Michael and Brad Cox.
She is survived by: her children, David Cox (Brenda) of Charleston and Kimberly Cox of Charleston; and her siblings, Francis Pierson of New Berlin, Wisconsin, Gene Pierson of Arizona, Chris Pierson of Arkansas and Nancy Kelly of Charleston. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren; and 20 great grandchildren.
