He was predeceased by: his parents, Leland Werries and Virginia Rice Werries of Chapin. He is survived by: his wife Becky; his sons, Neil Werries (Gabriela) and Henry of Baton Rouge; his grandson Drew Ater (Georgia) of Atlanta; his daughter Kristen Werries Collier (Paul); his grandchildren, Tate, Holden and Vaughn of Chicago; his great grandchild Elizabeth Matthews Stull (Doug) of Chandler, Arizona.; his siblings, Martin Werries (Beverly) of Jacksonville, John Werries (Ruth) of Chapin and Ruth Geiger (Greg) of Knoxville; and his former wife Donna Savage of Springfield. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
