He was predeceased by: his parents, Athur M. Nergenah and Bessie Nergenah (Brown); his wife Betty Jean Tiemann; his daughter-in-law Trudy Nergenah; and his sisters, Bernice Bartelheim and Norma Detmer.
He is survived by: his children, Chris Nergenah (Jeanne Waters) of Chapin, Jim Nergenah (Deanna) of Loami, Teresa Albsmeyer (Rich) of Springfield and Julie Nergenah of Jacksonville; his grandchildren, Tara Brown (Lonn) of Waverly, Kayla Grinkey (Korey) of Greenfield, Cody Nergenah (Brandy) of Chapin, Adam Nergenah (Caroline) of Kingston Springs, Jennifer Streby (Jordan) of Argyle, Cindy Morrison (Josh) of Springfield, Joe Albsmeyer (Katie) of Rowlett and Jordyn Settles (Jason Fox) of Jacksonville; and his great grandchildren, Seger, Sienna Brown, Taggert, Tucker Grinkey, Carson Nergenah, Bentley Painter, Beck, Fallon Nergenah, Jett, Jada Streby, Vaughn, Cru, Zyon, Berlyn Albsmeyer, Isabella and Brady Moser.
