He was predeceased by: his parents, Everett "Murph" and Frances "Sparky" Hewlett (Ivanich); and his grandparents, Viola, Clarence Hewlett, Max and Helen Ivanich.
He is survived by: his grandchild Siesta Key; his pet Murphy; his wife Dory Hewlett (Thompson) of Channahon; his sons, Jeff Hewlett (Nancy) of Yorkville and Michael Hewlett of Joliet; his grandsons, Jackson and Joey Hewlett; his siblings-in-law, Larry and Barb Thompson; his nieces and nephews, Marc Thompson (Becky), Brandi Thompson (Bill), Max Hewlett and Mallory Cantu (Phil); and his great-nephews, Tyler, Tucker and Tanner Thompson.
