He was predeceased by: his parents, Shirley Helms (Davidson) and Tommy L. Helms; his wife Linda Helms (Corzine); and his sister Sheree Helms-McKinney. He is survived by: his significant other Eileen Boyle; his children, Tara Hulbert (Andrew Kovacevic), Samantha Hulbert (Antonio Leon) and Joseph Hirsch (Kasey); his grandchildren, Joey, Hailey, Leah, Abel, Gabriel, Adrian, Arianna, Jesse, Noah, Ever, Aurora and Ryland; and his brother Terry Helms (Terrye). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, December 6th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Fred C. Dames Funeral Home - Morris (1201 US-6, Morris, IL 60450). A memorial service was held on Friday, December 6th 2024 at 7:00 PM at the same location.
