James R. Wilhelmi Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James R. Wilhelmi of Channahon, Illinois, who passed away on November 30, 2024, at the age of 56, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of James R. Wilhelmi to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his father John R. Wilhelmi; and his uncle Kenneth Jaszczak. He is survived by: his wife Teri; his mother Mary K. "Kathy" Wilhelmi; his brother John T. Wilhelmi (Ajla); his nephew Eric Wilhelmi (Sarah); his nieces, Layla A. Wilhelmi and Aida Wilhelmi; his aunt Maureen Jaszczak; and his best buddies, Bowie and Isobel. He is also survived by numerous loving cousins and dear friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, December 5th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Fred C. Dames Funeral Home (3200 Black Rd, Joliet, IL 60431). A funeral service was held on Friday, December 6th 2024 at 9:30 AM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Friday, December 6th 2024 at 10:30 AM at the St. Patrick's Catholic Church (710 W Marion St, Joliet, IL 60436).
