He was predeceased by: his parents, A. Wayne Barnes and Mildred Leota Barnes (Marshall); his siblings, Bill Barnes (Rita), Barb (Mick), Von, Darlene and Kathy (Scott); and his parents-in-law, Edgar and Betty Demascal.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Demascal; his children, Teri Cummings (Dan) of Wilmington, Tami Barnes Macek (John) of Aurora, Kevin Barnes of Symerton, Tracy Barnes of Warrenville, Kip Barnes (Meredith) of Braceville and Kristy David (Terry) of Iowa, Louisiana; his grandsons, Christopher Cummings of North Aurora and Austin Cummings; his siblings, Mary Alice Workman (late Bob) of Harrisburg, Illinois, Marilyn Bower (late John) of Moweaqua, Sharon Barnes of Moweaqua, Sue Kramer (Earl) of Tuscola, Gloria Barnes of Moweaqua and Kenny Barnes of Brainerd, Minnesota; and his sister-in-law Jane Evaschuk (late Rich) of Naperville. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
The family will receive friends for a visitation at Baskerville Funeral Home, 700 East Kahler Road in Wilmington on Wednesday, August 26, 2020 between the hours of 3:00 p. m. and 8:00 p. m. Due to recent updated mandates issued by the Illinois Department of Public Health; Face mask requirements and measures of safe social distancing practices will be in order.
Preferred memorials may be made as gifts in Hub's memory to the Wilmington Baseball Softball Association or to the Wilmington District 209U Music Boosters.
