With heavy hearts, we announce the death of George W. Rees of Channahon, Illinois, born in Chicago, Illinois, who passed away on January 16, 2023 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Clifford Rees and Lucille Rees; and his brothers, Clifford Jr. and Donald Rees. He is survived by: his wife Marilyn Rees (Wisvader); his sons, Ronald Menelli (Sheri) of Carlsbad, CA, David Menelli (Sherry) of Bolingbrook and William Menelli (Kimberly) of Plainfield; and his grandchildren, Michael, Cora, Allison, Alex, Hannah, Ryan, Leo, Caitlin and Kyle. He is also survived by Numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in his name to Lightways Hospice, 250 Water Stone Circle, Joliet, IL 60431 would be appreciated.
