He was predeceased by: his wife Marianne Thelo; his brother Ronald Thelo; and his parents, Fred Thelo Sr. and Marie Thelo. He is survived by: his children, Katherine Vocu (James) and Mark Thelo (Beth); his grandchildren, Jimmy Vocu (Kim), Sarah Vocu (Lauren), Bennett Thelo and Grace Thelo; and his great grandchildren, Marley Vocu, Ava Vocu and Luka Vocu.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
