It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Eldon Orus Standley of Channahon, Illinois, born in Bucklin, Missouri, who passed away on January 24, 2021, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Orus Francis and Alice Evelyn Standley (Overstreet); his wife Doris Sharp of Marseilles; his children, Pamela Rush and Larry Nelson; and his brothers, Nicholas and Alvin Standley.
He is survived by: his son Bruce Nelson; and his brother Dale Standley (Betty). He is also survived by seven grandchildren, many great-grandchildren.
